Pohlen Hospital is a 26-bed community trusts hospital owned by the Matamata community. The hospital provides free maternity care; hospital level aged care, medical and some specialist surgical services. The Pohlen Hospital Trust Board aims to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for heath and social services and provide a number of specialist outpatient clinics.
