Dalton's Plantation

A unique experience at the Homestead Cafe, set in a distinctive garden setting. Open 9am-5pm daily (except Tuesdays in the off season). The Plantation specialises in weddings and private functions. Group bookings can be arranged combining Daltons limited and Plantation Gardens with lunch or morning/afternoon tea included.

Kaimai Cheese Company

A brand new ‘top shelf’ specialty cheese producer making genuinely ‘natural’ cheeses. Here at Kaimai, we are absolutely committed to flavour, taste, aroma and texture. We can provide full catering for functions, conferences and special events including weddings in either our café area, outdoors or in our theatrette.

Longlands Farm & Restaurant

Matamata Club

A function centre catering for up to 180 seated diners or 220 theatre style. A great outdoor deck area and two bowling greens. Breakfasts, lunches, meetings, special dinners, 21sts or weddings. Restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday. Sunday dinner roast only $15.

The Shires Rest

The Shire’s Rest Café and Function Centre is a unique rural retreat established around the Hobbiton Movie Set and Farm. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings of this rural property with full bar and catering facilities. Conferences, weddings, private and workplace functions. Open seven days a week.
